Fusion has finally joined into the fitness blogosphere!
This is something I had pondered over for a while and delayed myself because of all the personal training and junk fitness information out there! But… I don’t want turn this into a negative conversation, so we can discuss a bit more about the guises of personal training down the road ☺.
What to Expect:
I have a bit of a different view and past experience from the typical NYC trainer. My background started in Collegiate Strength and Conditioning, where I learned so much through practical experience and from the guidance of a great Coaching staff at ECU.
This is what has built me to become the Coach that I am today. I didn’t realize it then but being around these guys had truly made a big impact on my career. So I’d like Thank Coach Jim Whitten, Danny Wheel, Clay Gerringer, Adam Rotchstein, Nate Barnes, and Arek Long for showing me the ropes. I especially would like Thank Coach Whitten and Jerry Simmons for opening the doors to me and both being so helpful throughout my Coaching career.
Fast-forward 10 years of *TRUE training and coaching experience under the guidance of some of the top coaches in the nation, I am now venturing on my own. My purpose is to share the knowledge I gained over the years and hopefully make a positive impact on those that are trying to break into this crazy field or those that are just fitness enthusiasts.
*TRUE: what I mean by this is actually coaching and training people, NOT training yourself as an athlete from reading John Doe’s article or training your brother and his friend. Call me a snob, but I wouldn’t count this as “Coaching or Training Experience”.
With my unique experience, I hope to give you guys QUALITY information that was gained through YEARS of TRUE experience and not through a weekend workshop. These posts are for YOU the reader, so always feel free to leave a comment or email me with specific questions and I’ll be sure to get back to you.
Keep an eye out for our posts, we’ll be discussing various topics from speed development, Olympic Weightlifting, the truth about nutrition and supplements, strength training, personal training mistakes, pretty much anything fitness related!
In the mean time we’d really love your support by signing up to follow the posts and please don’t forget to follow us on twitter and facebook!
Stay strong!
