The Dead Hang Pull Up is a great exercise to help develop upper back strength. But the Dead Hang PLYO Pull Up takes it to another level!

This simple exercise is great for developing power and eccentric loading, it’s also just fun to do. The ripped shirt makes the video that much more bad ass too!

How To

Pretty straight forward…

  • start from a dead hang (bottom position, scap retracted)
  • Pull as hard as you can up and release…obviously catch and bam you’re good!

Caution

Don’t be an idiot, if you can barely do a pull up, maybe not a good idea to try this or anything that causes you to release the bar in mid air…
