Choosing a roller is all about the quality and durability. A typical “Foam Roller”, is made up of just that FOAM and over time will inevitable deflate = squishy mess like so:
Even the “black” foam roller starts to die out over time, especially for a facility (Personal Training or Sports Performance Training) that utilizes them each class/session. This is why I particularly like the “Trigger Point Performance Roller”:
The Benefits
- Light and easy to carry…also hollow so it’s not as limiting carrying it around. This is very crucial for me, as I run around NYC all day.
- Firm yet soft: I’d the density as much as a black foam roller but not as tough as a PVC pipe.
- Durability: Unlike the foam rollers, this will not die out on you!
